Maurits Cornelis Escher (17 June 1898 – 27 March 1972), usually referred to as M. C. Escher, was a Dutch graphic artist. He is known for his often mathematically inspired woodcuts, lithographs and mezzotints. These feature impossible

constructions, explorations of infinity, architecture and tessellations. His art is enjoyed by millions of people all over the world. He created visual riddles, playing with the pictorially logical and the visually impossible.

My Work

This is an image inside an image somewhat like this Escher image and also similar to a painting by Magritte. Escher is one of the most influential in my

desire to be an artist. The impossibilities he creates along with his cycles and references to nature are very intriguing to me.
